This sword will suit the collector that has been searching for a top shelf example of a Naval Officers Kaigunto to fill that niche in the collection. The sword can only be described as being in fantastic overall condition. Everything is completely original and untouched and all parts fit together as sound as a drum. The 25 “mumei showato blade is basically in fully polish and my photographs don’t do it justice. The koshirae is in wonderful condition and shows only minor age tarnish to the metal fittings. The beautiful same saya is perfect and the tsuka is fitted with a clasp hands sarute.
