Lt. General Mitsuzo Goto Tunic
with Aiguillette and Ribbon Bar
Offered here for sale is a rare and original named Imperial Japanese Army Generals Tunic which belonged to Lt. General Mitsuzo Goto. The tunic is a type 98 model and is named to Goto above the inside breast pocket. The Lt. General Collar Tabs are professionally hand stitched and all the thread loops for his Orders and Decorations are completely original to the tunic.
The right breast pocket has four loops for attaching a high rank order and below and a little to the right are two loops for the General Officers Commanders Badge. Above the left breast pocket are 3 loops for the attaching the Medal Ribbon Bar.
The tunic is in excellent condition with only an odd nip here and there to the fabric and comes complete with the aiguillette and twelve place medal ribbon bar.
It is extremely rare to find an original named Generals Tunic offered for sale on the open market.
